Highlights and Impressions at analytica 2024 in Munich from 9-12 April 2024

The Teams of Pharma Test and J&M would like to thank you each and everyone of you for visiting us at our booth at analytica 2024 in Munich that took place from 9 until 12 April 2024! It was a great pleasure for us. Here are some highlights and impressions at our booth from the exhibition.

1. Highlights of Pharma Test

Some of the highlights at our booth in A1.203: For Dissolution Testing the ADS-L D620 online fully automated dissolution system including PTWS D620 12-station tablet dissolution bath and TIDAS® L diode-array spectrometer featured with DSR-M dissolution sampling robot, also at display is the PT-DDS4 media preparation system for media degassing.

Also featured at analytica 2024 was the dispersion releaser PT-DR which was developed together with The Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology IME together with the Goethe University Frankfurt/Main for a standard dissolution tester to provide a solid system for the release testing of nano- and microformulations.

For Galenic Instruments we showed two brand new manual powder testers: The PTG-M100 and the new Scott Volumeter PT-SV110 (world premieres), PTG-S5 NIR automated powder flow analyzer, for tablet hardness testing PTB 330, PTB 500 and as fully automated system WHT 4. Also as a world premiere we featured the brand new vacuum-based PT-LT100 leak tester to test the integrity of tablet strips, blister packs and bottles.

2. Connectivity and Data Integrity

Theme of the booth at analytica 2024 was “Stay connected – with (data) integrity”. From secure data handling and change approval including audit trail and electronic signatures on the instruments themselves such as the PTG-S5 automated powder flow analyzer to connectivity with network printers and company LIMS, we had many (brand new) solutions to connect the lab. Such as the PT-Node instrument network adapter to print or save test reports via web browser on any printer and export results to external systems in your company network.

3. Highlights of J&M

Some of the highlights at our analytica 2024 booth from our sister company J&M besides the TIDAS® L diode-array spectrometers that were integrated in the exhibited online automated dissolution ADS-L system were fiberoptic flow cells, dipping probes for lab and dissolution testing and UV/VIS/NIR detectors called TIDAS® OEM HPLC DAD.

4. Until Next Time

We hope you had a fruitful time at analytica 2024 and again would like to thank you for your visit. With 1,066 exhibitors from 42 countries and around 34,000 visitors from 117 countries at analytica 2024 there was huge increase in visitor (+8,000) and exhibitor (+175) numbers compared to last time at analytica 2022. See you (again) in two years at analytica 2026 – from 24 until 27 March 2026.
