Dual Roller Crusher (Dry Granulator)
The stainless steel DG-Dual Roller Crusher (Dry Granulator), with its helical twin shaft arrangement is used for preparation of granules starting from slugs, tablets and pellets. Through its unique design, it offers an optimal crushing/granulation performance and relatively low powder content.
Operation Mode
For crushing and granulation, two massive helically threaded stainless steel rollers generate a high pressure through their outward rotation toward the side chicks. The spiral grooves on the rollers create a powerful feed mechanism, which forces the material towards the breaking combs at the side chicks. The DG Dual Roller Crusher (Dry Granulator) can be directly attached to the UAM Universal Motor Drive, which provides a flexible, stepless speed tuning.
