Mini Ball Mill
The stainless steel BM-0 Mini Ball Mill is used to prepare small samples for analysis of material and for grinding of solid and crystalline substances. The BM-0 Mini Ball Mill is also suitable for size reduction in both; dry and wet operation; for solids as well as for slurries.
Construction and Components
The cover of the drum is fixed by a knurled screw and a support set, which forces it against a rubber gasket creating thus an air-tight sealing mechanism. 20mm and 25mm stainless steel balls are in the delivery scope. Milling balls of max. diameter of 50mm, from L316 stainless steel or porcelain can also be optionally ordered.
Attached via UGD
The BM-0 Mini Ball Mill has to be attached to the UAM Universal Motor Drive via the UGD Universal Gear Drive. All contact parts of the milling drum as well as the milling balls are made of GMP compliant materials and can be sterilized in accordance with GMP.
