Polishing Drum
The felt-lined drum of the PD Polishing Drum is designed for the polishing of coated tablets. In addition to the vessel walls themselves, the bottom of the vessel is also felt-lined in order to provide an optimal all-around polishing performance with the volume available in this device. All felt parts are designed for a very easy and quick exchange.
Easy Observation
The cover of the polishing vessel is provided with a transparent plexyglas window, which allows the visual observation of the polishing process. It is also provided with three snap fasteners that would provide a quick and safe sealing mechanism during each batch process. The PD Polishing Drum is attached via the UGD Universal Gear Drive to the UAM Universal Motor Drive, which allows the user to smoothly adjust the optimal speed and angle of operation. Contact parts are made of GMP Compliant materials and can be sterilized in accordance with GMP.
