Pelletizer
The PLT Pelletizer is used for the production of pellets starting from powders or granules. Connecting the PLT Pelletizer to the UAM Universal Motor Drive via the UGD Universal Gear Drive offers adjustable operation speed and angle.
Operation Mode
The clockwise rotation of the stainless steel pelletizing pan using the UAM Universal Motor Drive and the UGD Universal Gear Drive offers optimized settings for most required pelletizing process. The particle size of the required pellets depends on the rotation speed, the angle of operation, the ratio Solid/Liquid and the properties of the feed.
Once the PLT Pelletizer is filled and while the pelletizing process continues, pellets continuously roll over the edge of the pan and can be collected into a suitable collector and dried. The flexible adjustment of the UGD Universal Gear Drive offers a simple and rapid discharging as well as for service and cleaning purposes. All contact parts are made of GMP Compliant materials and can be sterilized in accordance with GMP.
