The PTWS 310 Hybrid Dissolution System with the ASP-2000 and WinDiss32 Software introduces a new level of sophistication in Tablet Dissolution that allows simultaneous Collection, Dilution and Reagent Addition with subsequent injection for UV or HPLC analysis in real time. Also shown below is the optional SA 500 Diode Array Spectrometer with 16 cell changer.
Most operations are performed with a Dissolution Bath integrated into the system. However, the AUTO SAMPLER ASP-2000 and sample preparation features can be used to process samples collected by other means, i.e., samples that are manually collected or collected by a conventional Fraction Collector such as the PT-FC2 etc.
The ASP-2000 utilises two probes; a Multiple Probe consisting of up to 8 Needles which can be used for sampling and a Single Needle Probe can be used for Dilution and or Injection.
This popular configuration is elaborate, but allows also calculation of results if samples are injected into a connected UV/VIS spectrophotometer using the new fully 21 CFR Part 11 compliant WinDiss32 software and is by definition PC controlled.
